Successfully Completed Regional Mine Action Managers Course for South Caucasus Countries  in Belgrade

In the period from April 8 to 19, 2024, Regional Mine Action Managers Course for South Caucasus Countries, organized by the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), was held in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.

Among the participants were 17 representatives of national mine action authorities from the South Caucasus Countries and the Republic of Serbia.

Successful participants were awarded internationally recognized certificates.

Stanislav Damjanović, international instructor of the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining, spoke on behalf of the organizers and congratulated the participants on successful completion of the training, expressing  hope that the knowledge they acquired will be used in the best possible way to solve problems related to ERW in their countries.

Bojan Glamočlija, SMAC Director, emphasized the importance of this type of training and exchange of experiences.

The Embassy of the Swiss Confederation and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany supported the delivery of this course with donations from their governments.
