SMAC Holder of CAF Effective User Label

The Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia (SMAC) has been awarded the prestigious CAF Effective User Label by the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA).

This certificate was awarded after the SMAC successfully passed the application process and external expert evaluation within the CAF (Common Assessment Framework) method, which is implemented through the Process of External Feedback (PEF).

CAF – Common Assessment Framework, is a quality management system that allows public administration institutions to assess their own organization, identify their strengths, but also areas for improvement. Through this process, employees and managers of institutions evaluate the work of their organization and implement improvement measures.

In March 2023, the SMAC began the process of implementing the CAF quality management model, initiating activities aimed at improving its work.

Upon completion of the external evaluation, the SMAC was awarded the prestigious CAF Effective User Certificate, which confirms its commitment to the CAF principles of excellence and their application.

Furthermore, this certificate highlights significant progress in all aspects of the operations and functioning of the public administration institution, which has been made possible by the application of CAF as a quality improvement mechanism.

The certificate is a recognition for continuous work on improving the quality of services and efficiency within public administration, as well as for contributing to the development of public institutions that respond to the needs of citizens.
