Participation of the Mine Action Centre in the European Explosive Ordnance Seminar in Rome
Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia participated in the Explosive Ordnance Seminar Europe 2026, held from 22 to 24 September 2026 in Rome, Italy.
The seminar brought together representatives of military EOD teams, law enforcement authorities, civilian institutions, non-governmental and international organisations, as well as the private sector, with the aim of exchanging experience and addressing current challenges in the field of mine action.
The seminar programme covered topics relevant to the further development of EOD and mine action capacities, including the application of advanced technologies for explosive ordnance detection, the use of UAS/USV systems, underwater EOD operations, as well as support for EOD projects.
Representing the Republic of Serbia, the Mine Action Centre participated in a panel discussion dedicated to underwater operations in mine action, providing an opportunity to exchange experience and present the capabilities of countries in the region.
The participation of the Mine Action Centre’s representatives in this international event provided an important opportunity to exchange professional expertise and gain insight into contemporary approaches and technologies in the field of EOD.
