Meeting with Representatives of the Embassy of Serbia in Washington

On the october 18, 2023, a joint meeting of the Mine Action Centre and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington was held.

The meeting was attended by the director of the Mine Action Centre, Mr. Bojan Glamočlija, Deputy Ambassador Mr. Vladimir Marić, and adviser at the Еmbassy, Ms. Tijana Borisavljević.

During the meeting, the Director of the Mine Action Centre informed the representatives of the Embassy about the competences and activities of the Centre, as well as about the results achieved in the previous period. Also, the representatives of the Embassy were presented with the current situation regarding explosive remnants of war on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as well as with the needs and challenges of our country in the field of mine action.

The Mine Action Centre used this opportunity to further encourage cooperation on the improvement of mine action and humanitarian demining in the Republic of Serbia.
