GICHD IM Team Visit to SMAC
The week of 26 February – 1 March 2024 saw the GICHD Information Management team visit to the SMAC within the ongoing cooperation between the GICHD and SMAC on installing the Information Management System for Mine Action – IMSMA Core tailored to Serbia specific mine action requirements and needs.
During the visit, the GICHD IM team worked with the SMAC team to help them build and test the 1st workflow – project request workflow. Furthermore, the work was focused on data migration and data cleaning, resulting in IMSMA Core Version 1 being presented to the SMAC.
We are looking forward to the next steps towards the SMAC improvement of the IM process and system and would like to extend our special thanks to the GICHD IM team for their invaluable advice and guidance over the past period to help the SMAC achieve their IM goals.
