Final Quality Control Completed on the “Rakovica 3” Project
Representatives of the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia have completed the final quality control inspection of the Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Clearance Project at the “Rakovica 3” site.
The final quality control confirmed that all works had been carried out in accordance with the project documentation.
During the implementation of the Project, over 800 items of unexploded ordnance (UXO) were discovered at the site.
In accordance with the prescribed procedures, the UXO discovered was identified and safely removed from the site and subsequently destroyed by members of the Emergency Situations Sector of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia.
The “Rakovica 3” UXO Clearance Project was prepared by the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia. The works were carried out in accordance with the project documentation, applicable national regulations, and the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS), under continuous professional supervision and quality control.

The successful implementation of the “Rakovica 3” Project, including the detection and safe removal of UXO from the site, contributes to reducing risks to human life and health, property, and the environment, while also creating safe conditions for its future use.
