ERW Found at the “Serbian House” Project Site in Bujanovac

During the implementation of the Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) Clearance Project at the “Serbian House” site in the Municipality of Bujanovac, residual ERW items were discovered.

The demining team of the contractor, Millennium Team Belgrade, engaged on this project, identified several ERW items, including one 76 mm artillery shell, one 90 mm artillery shell, two mortar fuzes, and one 23 mm anti-aircraft ammunition.

A specialized Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from the Emergency Management Sector of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia conducted reconnaissance and assessment of the site, and subsequently carried out the removal, transportation, and destruction of the discovered items.
