Ceremony Marking 80th Anniversary of Victory Day over Fascism in World War II
At the National Theatre in Belgrade, a ceremonial academy marked the 80th anniversary of Victory Day over Fascism and Nazism in World War II.
On May 9, 2025, the Director of the Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia attended the ceremony organized by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy, emphasizing the importance of cultivating culture of remembrance, preserving historical heritage and respecting the sacrifices made for freedom and peace.

The celebration of Victory Day is an opportunity to remember shared values of anti-fascism and solidarity, which remain the foundation of modern Europe and the society to which we aspire.
The event was attended by the highest-ranking state officials, representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Serbian Orthodox Church, the diplomatic corps, veterans’ organizations and associations.
