EORE Education for High School Students in Bujanovac
As part of the Non-Technical Survey Project in the Municipality of Bujanovac, organized by the Mine Action Centre, Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) sessions are being successfully conducted in primary and secondary schools across the municipality for both students and teaching staff in Serbian- and Albanian-language schools.
This week, the educational program was organized for fourth-year high school students.
The aim of the training is to raise awareness among young people about the potential dangers posed by explosive remnants of war (ERW) and to familiarize students with the appropriate procedures to follow if suspicious objects are discovered.
During the educational sessions, students had the opportunity to learn about the fundamental principles of safe behavior, the importance of promptly notifying the relevant authorities, and preventive and protective measures.
Representatives of the Mine Action Centre emphasized that these educational activities highlight the importance of responsible behavior and contribute to the safety and well-being of the local community.
