Visit of representatives of the Golden West Humanitarian Foundation

The Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia was visited by representatives of the international organization Golden West Humanitarian Foundation, headquartered in the United States of America.

After a working meeting in the premises of the Mine Action Centre, the representatives also got acquainted with the capacities of the Innovation and Educational Park of the SMAC, classrooms, training ranges, as well as equipment testing.

The visit was organized with the aim of discussing possible directions of future cooperation and exchange of expert knowledge in the field of humanitarian mine action.

During the meeting, the implementation of safety standards as well as modern approaches to managing specific resources and logistics processes were discussed.

The topics of discussion also included consideration of potential training and development programs that would contribute to increasing operational capacities.

This visit confirms the Center’s commitment to continuous development and openness to exchanging knowledge with global experts, with the aim of achieving greater safety and efficiency in all segments of work.
