SMAC Participation at Presentation of Official Results of BH IMSMA Core Project

On Thursday, August 31, 2024, in Sarajevo, SMAC representatives attended the official presentation of the results of the project “Support to Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Centre (BHMAC) in the implementation of a real-time information management system for mine action in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BHIMSMA Core of the BHMAC.

This event marked the start of the new BHIMSMA Core web-oriented, innovative information system that aims to improve information management in mine action throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. BHIMSMA Core enables real-time data management, which will contribute to the improvement of operational efficiency and the implementation of demining activities.

The project is funded by the Federal Republic of Germany and Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) in cooperation with the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD).
