SMAC Participation at 7th NATO EOD Demonstrations and Trials 2023

In the period 11 – 12 October 2023, in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, at the invitation of the Bratislava based NATO EOD Center of Excellence (EOD COE), SMAC participated at the 7th NATO EOD Demonstrations and Trials 2023.

The theme of this year’s meeting was “Future EOD Development in Light of the Modern Conflicts and Technological Progress“as a challenge for EOD/IEDD experts, scientists, producers, industry and SMEs involved in the fight against terrorism.

Given that bringing together the operational requirements, armaments and technological EOD related entities from NATO and partner nations is considered as regular need for fight against terrorism and creating solutions that will be transferred into reality, the event saw discussions related to technologies to support EOD training, current intensive armed conflicts, as well as EOD within stability operations and other missions.

7th NATO EOD Demonstrations and Trials 2023 was visited by 342 visitors from 24 countries, with 46 exhibitors from 17 countries, 24 recognized speakers and 390 minutes of live demonstrations.
