Site Visit with Interested Contractors

In cooperation with the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia and the ITF Enhancing Human Security Foundation, together with representatives of the Municipality of Rakovica, a site visit was organized for interested contractors regarding the projects for the clearance of unexploded ordnance (UXO) at the “Rakovica” location in the Municipality of Rakovica.

The interested contractors were given the opportunity to assess  the complexity and scope of the planned clearance operations at the sites within the Municipality of Rakovica, for which the Mine Action Center has developed five projects.

Funding for the implementation of these activities was provided by the Government of the Republic of Serbia through the state budget, while the ITF Enhancing Human Security Foundation supplemented these funds through donations from the Governments of the United States of America and the Republic of Korea.

The ITF Enhancing Human Security Foundation, together with the Embassies of the United States of America and the Republic of Korea, continues to be a valued and reliable partner and donor. Their contribution, continuous support, and commitment to addressing the challenges posed by explosive remnants of war (ERW) in the Republic of Serbia are of exceptional importance.
