“Serbian House” Project Introduction in Bujanovac

Based on the request from the Ministry of Mining and Energy, the Mine Action Centre has developed an ERW clearance project for the “Serbian House” site, Municipality of Bujanovac.

Representatives of the Mine Action Centre have introduced the contractor, the company “Millennium Team” LLC, Belgrade, to the work in accordance with Phase 1 of the Project. They are monitoring the implementation and performing quality control of the completed works.

The goal of the project is to eliminate the danger posed to people, property, and the environment by ERW and to create conditions for the client to safely and securely plan and execute upcoming infrastructure and earthworks to the designed depth.

On this occasion, the survey team engaged in the Non-Technical Survey project in the Municipality of Bujanovac was introduced to the use of detectors and safety procedures necessary for the safe conduct of field activities.
