Quality Control on Ponikve Airport Project

As part of the monitoring of the implementation of the Cluster Munitions Clearance Project from the “Ponikve Airport – 7” site, the City of Užice, on October 17 and 18, 2024, the quality control of the part of works performed was carried out in accordance with phase 1 of the Project.

Quality control was carried out on a part of the site that was searched to a depth of 50 cm by the contractor NGO “IN Demining”, Pale, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On that occasion, no critical errors were found in this Project.

The SMAC will issue a certificate after the cluster munitions clearance activities at the location in question, that the area is without identified risk and safe for further use, according to the Project and International Mine Action Standards.
