Quality Control on Eastern Serbia Gasification Project

As part of the monitoring of the implementation of the Explosive Remnants of War Clearance Project on the route of the Eastern Serbia Gas Pipeline, on October 14 and 15, 2024, SMAC representatives performed a quality control of the works according to phase 1 of the Project, on a part of the area between Svrljig and Niš, which the contractor searched to a depth of 50 cm.

On that occasion, no critical errors defined by this Project were found.

Clearance of this site will remove the danger posed by ERW for the construction of the gas pipeline on the route of Eastern Serbia, which will enable the safe construction and use of the gas pipeline, which is an important step for the development of energy infrastructure in order to preserve the energy security of the Republic of Serbia.
