Promotion of Mine Action at „GALAXY CUP“

On December 15, 2023, at the “Zemun” Electrical Engineering School, a session of the Community of Secondary Electrical Engineering Schools was held, in which representatives of the Serbian Mine Action Centre and the Academy of Technical-Educational Vocational Studies Niš took part.

On that occasion, SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija and a professor from the Academy of Technical Educational Vocational Studies Niš, as a result of the joint cooperation of SMAC and the Academy, announced their participation at the “GALAXY CUP”, which will bring together high school students from electrical engineering schools, where, as a special challenge, the task for young electrical engineering technicians will be to offer their vision and solution how sensor systems and technologies can be used in survey of ERW contaminated areas.

It will be an excellent opportunity to link and promote mine action and the academic community.
