Participation of the Serbian Mine Action Center in the Intersessional Meetings of the States Parties to the Ottawa Convention
Representatives of the Serbian Mine Action Center participated in the Intersessional Meetings of the States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on Their Destruction (the Ottawa Convention), held in Geneva from 15 to 18 June 2026.

The Intersessional Meetings constitute an important mechanism for monitoring and verifying the implementation of the Convention, as well as an opportunity to discuss current challenges, achievements, and future activities of the States Parties.
This year’s meetings were of particular significance, as they were held following the first year of implementation of the Siem Reap–Angkor Action Plan 2025–2029, adopted at the Fifth Review Conference of the Ottawa Convention.
