Participation of Serbian Mine Action Centre at NATO EOD 2025 Demonstration and Conference – Leading Forum for Innovation in Explosive Ordnance Disposal

Representatives of the Serbian Mine Action Centre participated in the NATO EOD 2025 Demonstration and Conference – the leading innovation forum in the field of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), held from October 8 to 9, 2025, in Bratislava (Slovak Republic), at the INCHEBA EXPO Exhibition Center.

The event was organized by the NATO Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence, with support from the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic, and was funded through the NATO Defence Against Terrorism Programme of Work.

This year’s theme, Explosive Ordnance Disposal in NATO Multi-Domain Operations,” addressed current challenges and opportunities in the field of EOD and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) disposal, particularly in the context of modern warfare and technological advancements.

The conference focused on technologies supporting EOD training, adapting operational requirements, aligning technological solutions with real-world challenges, and accelerating the implementation of innovative solutions in EOD protection.

The most advanced devices used in EOD operations were showcased, while participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, address identified gaps, and propose future directions for development.

The NATO EOD 2025 Demonstration and Conference – as the leading innovation platform in explosive ordnance disposal – provides a significant venue for connecting military, industrial, and scientific stakeholders in a joint effort to enhance capabilities and interoperability in the EOD domain.
