ERW Found on”New Cemetery – Mogila” Project in Požarevac

During the implementation of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) Clearance Project at the “New Cemetery – Mogila” site in Požarevac, residual ERW was found.

Demining team of  a contractor – NGO “In Demining” Pale, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, engaged on this Project, found several pieces of ERW: a smoke bomb, an anti-tank mine body, 3 pieces of a 122mm artillery shell, a hand grenade fuse and a TMA-3 anti-tank mine (exercise).

Members of the Sector for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia carried out safe removal and then demolition of the found devices after the completion of all work.
