Completion of Implementation of “National Stadium” Project

The project for the clearance of explosive remnants of war at the site for the construction of line infrastructure within the construction of the National Football Stadium with accompanying facilities, is located on the territory of the city municipality of Surčin, Belgrade.

The project and Changes and Amendments to the Project were developed by SMAC according to the request of the Building Directorate of Serbia, in order to carry out ERW clearance activities, on the area that is intended for the construction of linear infrastructure for the needs of the development of a new area within the construction of the National Football Stadium. Contractor is the company “Millennium Team”, Belgrade.

On April 11, 2024, SMAC representatives carried out the final quality control according to phase 4, using the “bore hole” method.

After the final quality control, SMAC issued a certificate that the area covered by this project is safe for further use and as such, it was handed over to the Contracting Authority, the Building Directorate of Serbia.

By clearing this location, the necessary conditions have been created for the safe construction of the new National Football Stadium and accompanying infrastructure facilities that will contribute to the economic development, promotion and strengthening of the reputation of the Republic of Serbia.
