In cooperation with the UK based DRAKON Group, a four-week improvised explosive devices disposal (IEDD) training course is being implemented in the Serbian Mine Action Centre Innovation and Educational Park.

The training is attended by 8 participants from the United Kingdom, Uganda, Congo, France, Canada and Hungary, who, through the lectures and practical work on the testing range, will have the opportunity to acquire all the necessary knowledge about recognition, handling, removal and controlled destruction of improvised explosive devices, the use of specialized IEDD weapons, remote control of vehicles, as well as digital radiography.

Upon completion of the training, participants will be qualified to perform IEDD operator tasks in accordance with International standards, which represents a significant step in strengthening security capacities and expertise in this area.
