77th Anniversary of the Military Technical Institute Marked

A formal ceremony was held in the amphitheater of the Military Technical Institute to mark 77 years of work of this prominent military-scientific and research institution in the field of defense technologies in Serbia.

The event was attended by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, who emphasized that Serbia’s defense strength is founded on knowledge, innovation, and the dedication of the people working within the defense system.

Representatives of the Serbian Mine Action Centre, along with numerous associates and partners from the defense industry, were also present at the ceremony.

Minister Gašić was presented with a plaque by the Institute, while distinguished individuals and organizations received awards for their contribution to enhancing cooperation.

The Director of the Institute, Colonel Dr. Ivan Pokrajac, highlighted that the Military Technical Institute represents “the core of national independence in the field of defense technologies” and reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to the continued development of contemporary systems and equipment for the needs of the Serbian Armed Forces.
