250th Anniversary of U.S. Independence Day Celebrated in Belgrade

Representatives of the Serbian Mine Action Centre attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of the United States of America (U.S.) in Belgrade to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Independence Day of the United States.

This national holiday marks the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, signed on July 4, 1776.

This year’s reception was hosted by the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Serbia, Alexander Titolo, who is currently serving as the head of the diplomatic mission.

Addressing the guests, Mr. Titolo emphasized the significance of a new era in U.S.-Serbia relations, highlighting that the progress achieved is the result of joint efforts and the partnership of people who transform ideas into tangible results.

The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and numerous distinguished guests.

The Serbian Mine Action Center’s longstanding and successful cooperation with the U.S. Departman of State reaffirms a reliable partnership founded on mutual trust and a shared commitment to implementing significant projects and initiatives in the field of humanitarian mine action.
