Commencement of the ERW Clearance Project at the “Sloboda Čačak 10” Site

The implementation of the Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) Clearance Project has commenced at the “Sloboda Čačak 10” site, City of Čačak, which includes two separate areas (polygons).

The project was made by the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia at the request of Sloboda AD Čačak.

Representatives of the Mine Action Centre conducted a checking of the project documentation and the equipment to be used on Project. Following this procedure, the contractor, Millennium Team DOO, was  introduced into the works.

In the previous period, within the territory of the City of Čačak, eight ERW clearance project and one technical survey project had been implemented, during which a number of ERW items of various types were found and removed.
