Marking the Day of the Sector for Emergency Management

On the occasion of marking the Day of the Sector for Emergency Management, a newly constructed facility of the Fire and Rescue Unit was officially opened in Lapovo.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Đuro Macut, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić, Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić, as well as other high-ranking government officials, representatives of local government, and numerous guests, whose presence showed support for the members of the Sector for Emergency Management in their noble and responsible mission.

On behalf of the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia, the event was attended by Director Mr Bojan Glamočlija, who on this occasion congratulated the members of the Sector for Emergency Management and emphasized the importance of their dedication and contribution to the safety of citizens.

The celebration was enriched with a tactical and technical display of firefighting vehicles and equipment, as well as a demonstration exercise by the Fire and Rescue Brigade from Kragujevac, while the formal ceremony at the Cultural Center in Lapovo rounded off the program of this year’s celebration.
