SMAC Representatives Attend 21st International Symposium – Mine Action 2025 in Croatia
The 21st International Symposium-Mine Action 2025 has begun in Cavtat, Dubrovnik, the Republic of Croatia, bringing together mine action experts from all over the world.
The event, which runs from April 1 to 3, is organized by the Croatian Ministry of Interior and the Croatian Mine Action Center – Center for Testing, Development and Training (HCR-CTRO), under the patronage of the President of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković.
Among the participants are representatives of the Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia, who have had the opportunity to participate in discussions on current challenges in the field, improving mine action methods, exchanging experiences, as well as the importance of international cooperation and the development of innovations in this field.
This year’s Symposium brings together around 200 participants from around thirty countries, including representatives of state institutions, international organizations, equipment manufacturers and experts in the field of mine action.

– Three years after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine: insights and lessons learned
– Strategic approach to mine action: global lessons and funding challenges
– Risk management and improvements in the field of demining
– Research, development and innovative solutions in mine action
