Meeting with Bujanovac Mayor – Support to NTS Bujanovac Project

In Bujanovac, representatives of the Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia (SMAC) met with Bujanovac Mayor, Mr Arber Pajaziti, regarding cooperation on the Non-Technical Survey Project of the Bujanovac Municipality.

On this occasion, SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija, thanked Bujanovac Mayor, Mr Arber Pajaziti, for the office provided to the survey teams on this Project, which will enable them to work smoothly and carry out their activities.

The Mayor emphasized that the local authorities will continue to support the Project, recognizing its importance for the community.

The meeting was also attended by Ms Helen Gray, an international instructor engaged on the Project, who will monitor the implementation of the Project and contribute with her experience to its successful implementation.

This cooperation confirms the importance of joint engagement in resolving the remaining problem of groups of mines and explosive ordnance in the Bujanovac Municipality.
