Quality Control on Obrenovac – Novi Beograd Out-of-Town Heating Pipeline Project

On Monday, November 18, 2024, the SMAC carried out quality control of the works carried out on the second part in accordance with the first phase of the ERW Suspected Area Clearance Project on the route of the out-of-town heating pipeline Obrenovac – Nоvi Beograd, which the contractor “Millennium Team”, together with subcontractor “ARM demining” searched on the part of the area up to a depth of 50 cm.

No critical error defined by the Project was found on the controlled part of the site.

The goal of this project is to eliminate the danger to people, property and the environment from ERW, which creates a safe basis for the further development of the infrastructure project.

During the execution of the works so far, on this part of the Project site, the contractor found ERW as follows: аrtillery projectile, 120mm caliber.

The place of the ERW discovery is marked and secured in accordance with standards.

Members of the Sector for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia will destroy the found ERW, which will create conditions for safe continuation of works on the project.
