Quality Control on ERW Clearance Project for Gas Pipeline Route on Leskovac – Vranje Section

In the period from April 23-25, 2024, as a follow up to the monitoring of the implementation of the ” ERW Clearance Project for the Gas Pipeline Route on the Leskovac – Vranje Section and in accordance with the Changes and Amendments to this project, which extend the route of the gas pipeline to the border with the North Macedonia, SMAC carried out quality control of the works according to Phase 1 of the Project, that is, on the part of the area that the contractor searched to a 50 cm depth.

Also, control was carried out on the part of Phase 2 and Phase 3, on the areas that were searched up to 3m deep.

Quality control that was carried out did not identify any critical errors determined by this Project.

Contractor “Millennium Team” ltd. continues the execution of works in coordination with the SMAC.

In the following period, members of the Sector for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia will carry out safe demolition of 255 pieces of explosive remnants of war which the contractor found during the project implementation.
