Quality Control on ERW Clearance Project for Eastern Serbia Gas Pipeline Route

In the period from 24-25 July and  29-30, 2024, as a follow up to the monitoring of the implementation of the ERW Clearance Project for Eastern Serbia Gas Pipeline Route, Nо. 0273/22 and in accordance with the Changes and Amendments to this Project, SMAC carried out quality control of the works according to Phase 1 of the Project, that is, on the part of the area that the contractor searched to a 50 cm depth.

Also, control was carried out on the part of Phase 2 and Phase 3, on the areas that were searched up to 3m deep.

Quality control that was carried out did not identify any critical errors determined by this Project.

Contractor “Millennium Team” ltd. continues the execution of works in coordination with the SMAC.

As a reminder, after carrying out ERW clearance activities on these areas, the danger posed by ERW for the implementation of engineering-geological and geotechnical research will be eliminated, and the gas pipeline section can be handed over for construction and implementation of construction works on the gas pipeline route of the Eastern Serbia.
