Day of Serbian Unity Marked in Gadžin Han
The central state ceremony marking the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag was held this year in Gadžin Han.
The holiday is jointly celebrated by the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, and the host location was chosen in honor of Dragutin Matić, the famous military scout from the Salonika Front, who was born in this area.
The Ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, was attended by the Director of the Mine Action Centre of Serbia, numerous representatives of state institutions, the Serbian Orthodox Church, local governments, as well as officials and top students from elementary schools in the Republic of Srpska.
