ERW Discoveries on the “Bošnjace” Project in the Municipality of Lebane

During the implementation of the Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) Clearance Project at the Bošnjace site in the Municipality of Lebane, the contractor discovered two items of ERW: one 76 mm artillery shell and one 90 mm artillery shell.

Representatives of the Emergency Management Sector of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia safely removed, transported, and destroyed the discovered ERW items in accordance with all prescribed safety procedures.

Citizens are kindly requested to comply with the prescribed safety measures and to refrain from approaching areas marked with warning signs indicating the presence of ERW hazards.
